Itinerary for Pilgrimage trek in Everest region:

Day 01: Arrrival to Kathmandu. Transfer to the hotel in Kathmandu. Evenings are generally allowed free to shop around at your own. Overnight in hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu. A day in Kathmandu includes sightseeing which gives you major highlight’s visit inside Kathmandu valley. Visit the Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Swaymabhunath Stupa, Kathmandu Durbar square etc. overnight in Hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 03: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla. The Flight to Lukla is wonderful, passing above the mountains; the landing is an exciting moment in almost inclined airport where one end is 60 mtrs higher than the other. Start hiking along the Dudh Koshi to stay overnight in Phakding (2600 mtrs.). You will encounter the first procession of Yaks carrying the goods and creating temporary roadblocks while you are on your way. Yaks, Sheeps, Mule and horses are major transport mean in the region.

Day 04: Trekking from Phakding to Namche Bazaar. Continue walking along the Dudh Koshi to reach the Namche Bazaar. This famous trade center of the region is facilitated much than the other villages of the region. The Saturday market in Namche bazaar remains one of the important venues for the villagers to gather for need of home appliances, goods, clothes. Overnight in Namche bazaar (3440 mtrs.).
Day 05: Free day in Namche bazaar. Acclimatization in Namche bazaar, you may also wish to visit the places around. Overnight in Namche.

Day 06: Trekking from Namche bazaar to Thame. Thame conserved its monastery from ages. The trekking route is not the main trekking route of the Everest region while it is worth visiting through the trail to explore the Monastery in Thame. Overnight in Thame (3740 mtrs.).

Day 07: Trekking from Thame to Khumjung. The region of trek is considered once to be a frozen Lake, circumstances, natural processes broke water inside the Lake allowing many of the Tibetans to migrate to this region. Overnight in Khumjung (3790 mtrs.). The Khumjung monastery is important site of the region for Buddhist pilgrimages.

Day 08: Trekking from Thame to Phortse Tenga. The Twin peaks of Thamserku Mountain rise as you start the trail. The region is said to have the tale of Yeti, one of endangered Animals of the world. There still are remnants of the Yeti in Khumjung. Trekking along the banks of Dudh Koshi River with its soaring sound enters the forest of Rhodondren which ends at Phortse Tenga. You will be visiting the monastery in Phortse. Overnight in Phortse Tenga (3700 mtrs.).

Day 09: Trekking from Phortse to Pangboche. Pangboche is another village of the region, situated outside the most beaten track of the Everest region, Pangboche allows visitors to explore the beauties of the village alongwith the mountains and Religion where Buddhism is widely followed. Overnight in Pangboche (3985mtrs.).

Day 10: Trekking from Pangboche to Tengboche. Tengboche hosts the very popular monastery of the region; the tengboche monastery. The Tengboche monastery has been destroyed many times by earthquake and re-built many times. Overnight in Tengboche (3864 mtrs.).

Day 12: Trekking from Namche Bazaar to Lukla. Retrace the way back to Lukla.

Day 13: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu. Whole day free in Kathmandu at your own.

Day 14: Whole day free in Kathmandu for shopping, resting.

Day 15: Free morning to drive to the airport depending upon the flight time in the afternoon.
